Rome Highlights!
Dining with Royalty in Rome, Italy: May 17, 2013

One of Sarah's Harvard Classmates and dear friend, Rita, has been living a life many would call a fairy tale, since she came to Rome in 2003 and stole the heart of a handsome Italian Prince!

Rita was gracious and excited to host an event for Sarah in her home, Villa Aurora, which is located near the famous Spanish Steps in the heart of Rome. The event was far beyond any dream! Attending in Sarah's honor was His Royal Highness, Crown Prince of Libya, Two Serene Highnesses, Princes of the Holy Roman Empire, countless Princes, Princesses, Count, Countesses, Marques and even an Archbishop from the Vatican!

The Archbishop blessed the meal and Princess Rita delivered a most eloquent introduction as well as a heart felt thank you to each of the guests. The meal was magnificent, each conversation was so very special and the experience will be one that will be treasured for a lifetime. Enjoy the pictures of these royal guests!

Sunday, May 19, 2013 brought another enjoyable day of sightseeing. Sarah and Joe visited St. Peter's Square in Vatican City as Pope Francis addressed an outdoor mass with 200,000 in attendance. After the mass Pope Francis jumped into his "Popemobile" and headed into the crowd.
