England Highlights!
Buckingham Palace at Night, May 7, 2013:
On the evening of Sarah and Joe's first day in London they enjoyed all of the beauty of the city. From their luxurious hotel, Harrods, (complete with their own butler!), to the sights, the start to their European Tour was simply amazing!
Ms. Shannon Jipsen, Sarah's dear friend from Pageantry, is able to join Sarah and Joe for most of their European Tour. You will be seeing her throughout the journey! Sarah, Joe, and Shannon enjoyed a delicious meal at Caffe Concierto and then strolled along The Diana Princess of Whales Memorial Walk to the gates of Buckingham Palace. The Queen was home! What a perfect way to end the first day of what will be an amazing journey.

From Watching to Wearing a Crown; May 8, 2013:
After experiencing the "Royal" surprise, Sarah jumped in a taxi to Chelsea & Westminster Hospital. Sarah had the opportunity to meet with Sharon Aylott, children's play specialist in the burn unit of the Hospital and Dr. Lisa Williams, clinical psychologist. The afternoon was a lovely one filled with a tour of the facility, interactions with staff and patients, and wonderful tea and conversation with Lisa and Sharon.
After the wonderful time spent at Chesea & Westminster Hospital, Sarah was off to the next adventure! First, she met with Lauren Maffeo, a potential future contestant in the International Pageant System who wanted to learn more about Sarah and our wonderful system.
Next, the two were joined by Joe and Shannon and the four of them departed for an International Reception at Berry Brothers & Rudd. Sarah's dear friend Simon Berry hosted the event, which is ecspecially wonderful as he serves as the Clerk of the Royal Cellars!
Jasmine Milano, Miss International Great Britain 2012, and the newly crowned Miss International Great Britain 2013, Zara Ramsay Nortley joined in the festivities. Making the evening even more special was the addition of two individuals from the burn community: Ms Ruby Livings-Waterworth, fellow burn survivor, and Dr. Loretta White.
